DoseVerify FAQ
Quick answers about medication scanning, reminders, local storage, printing, and safety limits.
Where can I download DoseVerify?
DoseVerify is available free on the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad:
View DoseVerify on the App Store.
What does DoseVerify scan?
DoseVerify uses the camera to read prescription label text and help capture the medication name and strength. You should review the scan before using it because labels can be curved, crowded, reflective, or misread by the camera.
Does DoseVerify decide my dose?
No. DoseVerify is designed to help organize your medication list and reduce typing. You are responsible for confirming the medication name, strength, dose amount, schedule, and instructions against your prescription label, doctor, or pharmacist.
Are reminders required?
No. Medication reminders are optional. You can turn reminders on or off and use quick actions such as taken or snooze when a reminder appears.
Does DoseVerify save prescription label photos?
DoseVerify is designed to use the scan result to help fill in medication details, not save prescription label photos. Medication list data and optional profile information are stored locally on your device.
Is DoseVerify medical advice?
No. DoseVerify is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or pharmacy guidance. Always follow your prescription label and verify medication questions with your doctor or pharmacist.
